    Brazilian insurance market is huge, complex and full of opportunities. Insurance companies technology was build around to serve thousands of small brokers across the country, not a self service online quoting tool like Bidu. Step by step we’ve been learning with them how to use online to teach Brazilians about insurance (to then sell the right policy for their needs). This is by no means an easy task, we developed a lot of different skills as a company to be up to it: - Technology: we are integrated with 8 major insurance companies in brazil. - Acquisition: both online media and content market to bring the right user to the site and generate 2.000+ quotes every day. - Conversion: the need fill a form with 20+ questions makes user experience a priority, both for quoting and online purchase. - Commercial sales team: More than 70% of our sales still requires a sales representative with very specific knowledge about insurance. - Data management: from lead scoring to having lower default rates, using data in our favor is key to operational efficiency. - Customer service: at the end of the day we are still a broker and if the customer calls we need to have a good answer for his needs. Any company that fails in just one of the aspects above is going to fail. Skill is the biggest trigger for an online broker to succeed in Brazil and we wouldn’t be able to grow 10% a month without doing a very consistent experience for our customers, from the moment he clicks on a Google ad to the moment he renewals his policy on the following year.
