    The insurance industry is being disrupted. Old risk prediction models are becoming obsolete, and replaced by the new models based on information from various sources - connected devices, connected cars, smartphones, wearables etc. Future insurance models are already on the market, and known as "telematics" and usage based insurance models. Among other, this approach enables the insurers to reduce their risk exposure and to segment their customers based on their behaviour. Also, insurers found that risk prediction and analysis will not be sufficient for an effective programme development. It is also about the close communication with customers that brings customer stickiness and loyalty, improving the overall lifetime value of the customer.
